Today, at the first public bill signing since 2020, Governor Wes Moore signed the AACP/HACC legislation into law. In attendance for
the bill signing were AACP Executive Director, Peter Constantinou, HACC Executive Director, Stephanie Anderson, and our legislative advocates from the AnnDyl Policy Group, Sabine Rogers and Jake Spolan.
AACP and HACC jointly supported legislation to ensure proper training for the HVAC journeyperson license.Senator Benjamin Brooks and Delegate Lily Qi were the bill's sponsors in the Maryland General Assembly.
Governor Moore signs bill HB 132 into law, which takes effect October 1.
