The Air Conditioning Contractor of America, Central Maryland Chapter established a scholarship fund in 1989. The name of this fund was changed from the Dennis Grubb Memorial Scholarship Fund to the HACC of MD Memorial Fund.

The fund has been endowed by contributions from members of the Chapter throughout the years. More than $93,500 has been awarded since 1989 to assist students in continuing their education.
