What to Bring

  • A calculator
  • The number of billable hours your company had last year
  • Your last two year end profit and loss statements and balance sheets.

Note: If you don’t track billable hours yet, then you will discover why this is essential to profitability during this seminar. Estimate the number of billable hours for the company and by department if you are departmentalized. The easiest way is to look at payroll reports. Generally these reports will put vacation, holiday, sick pay as separate line items. The report gives you the number of hours outside of these hours and assumes they are working hours.

Then, estimate the number of training, meeting hours and other nonbillable hours. Subtract these hours from the working hours on the payroll report. These are your estimated billable hours.
